Nov 14: Exit slip

Today, I was unable to attend class due to sickness. After contacting my peers, I learned that our lesson featured a guest lecturer, Dr. Katheryn Ricketts. She gave an insightful lecture on embodied learning, which expanded on how physical experiences can enhance the learning process. The class also participated in a "simulation of a curricular creator grant," where they broke into smaller groups to engage in the activity. Some creative ideas included modifying a Jeopardy game, using popsicle sticks to represent number classifications and patterns, and alternative takes to technological tools like Kahoot. These hands-on activities allow educators to integrate curricular suggestions in a visual and accessible way.
